The German Forcare team, together with the Aachen University Hospital and Health IT Solutions GmbH, are optimising medical care in Germany with the help of interoperability. With this strong partnership, we aim to improve medical care through interoperability and the exchange of clinical data. This way we are promoting intersectoral networking.
Through our projects, physicians have a better insight into the course of the treatment. Moreover, patients are more involved and get secure access to their medical data.
We pursue this goal together in various projects, such as the ‘Fallakte+’. The ‘Fallakte+’ is aimed at hospitals, hospital networks, doctor networks, medical practices, community health centres and other medical institutions. It supports medical collaboration in the care and treatment of common patients and naturally complies with the strict legal requirements on data protection and security.
The eGA project ("Elektronische Gesundheitsakte", electronic health record) focuses on the patient. By agreeing to share medical data, the patient improves the procedures and documentation regarding their treatment. Patients own their own data, which is accessible only to them. They have access to it at any time and can share it with the physicians involved in the treatment process.
